Johnny's passion for leadership development began as an undergraduate where he was involved in numerous student involvement opportunities at Tarleton State University. The impact of this experience led him into the field of student affairs where he continues to serve and develop students on college campuses.

His research interests include; generational differences, leadership behavior, senior student affairs officer leadership and career planning for aspiring senior student affairs officers. He has published and made presentations at state and national conferences based on his expertise in student leadership, student affairs administration, fraternity/sorority life, and assessment.  

Johnny serves as the Director of Student Involvement and Adjunct Faculty within the College of Education & Human Sciences at Oklahoma State University.  Dr. Robinson resides in Stillwater with his wife Kerin.
